It seems like a perfect free hosting alternative for small to medium sized sites, except having the sendmail option. It provides a good amount of disk space and bandwidth, 10 mysql databases, the ability to host your own domain and best of all without any annoying ads. The benchmark results are not so good, but I didn’t feel any slowness while using their services.

Free Site Host delivers superior disk space and bandwidth for a free host, at least for a banner free one. They only add a FreeSiteHost link at the bottom of your pages. The only abscence is the sendmail feature. If you don’t need sendmail feature, and the small notice is not a problem for you, it is the host you are looking for. (In my opinion, if you are going to use a subdomain, the domain free-site-host.com doesn’t look good.)

If it is okey to have a promotion notice at the bottom of your pages, and you don’t need sendmail, it can be usefull for you. Like 4444mb Fizwig also adds 2 big adsense block to top & bottom of your pages. You won’t have any pop3 accounts, you can’t use smtp or sendmail, the file size is limited to 1mb and lastly you can’t host a top level domain, you have to use a fizwig subdomain. I suggest the manager of this host to make a search about competing services. You may check it by using the application install tools on control panel, and probably decide to look for another free host.
